How does CoolSculpting® ELITE work?

CoolSculpting® ELITE uses the science of cryolipolysis, a controlled cooling technique (-11°c) to precisely target fat cells in the selected area of the body with minimal downtime. This permanently destroys the treated fat cells without affecting the surrounding area. Over time, the fat is naturally broken down by the body and removed by the lymphatic system.

CoolSculpting® ELITE is FDA-cleared to treat nine areas of the body:

• Abdomen
• Flanks (love handles)
• Bra bulges around the underarm area
• Back Fat
• Double Chin
• Upper Arms
• Inner and Outer Thighs
• Underneath the buttocks (“banana roll”)

During the consultation, the practitioner will assess the area/s of concern about. A personalised treatment plan will be created that is tailored to your goals to get you the best results.

What does CoolSculpting Elite feel like?

During the treatment, a gel pad and an applicator are applied to the targeted area. The applicator will draw the tissue into the applicator cup. As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you typically feel intense cold, which will soon ease. With some applicators, you may feel a pulling sensation as suction is applied.
After the treatment, the practitioner will apply a manual massage for two minutes to rewarm and smooth out the treated area. You may feel some tingling as the area is massaged.

You are usually able to return to normal activities following your appointment.

Are results permanent?

Yes, CoolSculpting® ELITE technology uses a controlled cooling technique that reaches -11°c to target, freeze and eliminate unwanted fat cells in the targeted area. The treated fat cells will be expelled naturally by the body over time and are gone for good.

How long will each CoolSculpting® ELITE treatment take?

The latest technology of CoolSculpting® ELITE reduces treatment times to 35-75 minutes depending on the area treated.
The treatment time will vary depending on the number of areas treated during one visit. Your session will last on average 1-3 hours.
We always recommend a course of cycles for optimal results.

When will I see CoolSculpting® ELITE results?

Most CoolSculpting® ELITE patients see results between 6 to 12 weeks following treatment, which is when you will return for a follow up appointment with the practitioner.
